Control Panel - Release 2
Newly added features
in release two include full VPS backup and restore allowing users to
take a complete image of their VPS and roll back changes. Additionally a
billing panel was added for a streamlined and easier payment process.

Testing has
now been completed on the FileLAN control panel release 1. Today we
began deploying our new control panel that allows our users to start,
stop, reboot, and see the status of their VPS from the unified My
Account manager. For more

Custom VPS Control Panel Under Development
We a
re pleased to announce
currently under development is the FileLAN VPS control panel. This
custom panel will allow us to continue to offer value VPS service at
some of the most competitive prices in the industry. In house software
development saves us on costs of continually licensing control panel
software and allows us to offer value VPS service at a discounted rate.
Updates will be posted in our forum once we have begun to launch our new
control panel.
03/4/10 - Three new servers being added &
Network Upgrades this weekend
As FileLAN continues to grow we
will be adding three new servers over the next few days. Additionally we
posted information in our forum about the upcoming network upgrade that
will allow all of our users 3.5TB of data transfer a month included
FREE! Once we complete all of our upgrades all of our users will notice
much improved speed even during peak usage times as we load balance out
across the new servers. Expected downtime is 15 minutes per user this
weekend as we complete the network upgrades and load balancing.
01/30/10 - Network Status & Download Speed Test
Now view the health status of the FileLAN network by clicking the
network tab. This new page features a real time look at the aggregate
traffic flow through the FileLAN network. Additionally we are now
providing 1Mb, 10Mb, and 100Mb download test files to test the speed of
our network.
